Texas? In an effort feed thousands of families, Essence magazine has reported
that Beyoncé has teamed up with The Bread of Life, Miss-A-Meal, the Houston
Food Bank, The Box and a local Houston radio station to bring food to
impoverished families in the city in order to put an end to hunger for over
870,000 families. Beyoncé is indeed putting the effort in trying to help her
hometown and this sends out a good message to the rest of the world. She and
JayZ’s “On The Run” tour July 18th at Minute Maid Park gives fans a
chance to participate by in the drive by donating at least five non-perishable
food items to win pit tickets. Pit tickets are a “big deal!” Her dear hometown
may not have to ever suffer again because this may change it for the best. It serves
as an example for others and a way to change life for some in the Houston, Texas
area. People in the entertainment industry and leaders inspiring nourishment for the soul, giving back to our community, and creating great examples
