God’s Miracle Ministries Homeless Outreach With Performance

Where do you find a ministry who gives to the poor and a woman “anointed” enough to bring ministry through her voice to those who will listen? God’s Miracle Ministries has taken time out of their day to give warmheartedly to these individuals whom need food and added a vocalist with ministry. Praying for those whom want prayer, and ministering to those who will listen.” This is not only a church, but also a church of life changing efforts with Apostle Peter Oteka as the head of this ministry. Sis. Valene Warren, whom arranged this program, did a wonderful job, successfully helping the ministries growth by adding music ministry by Sis. Alicia S. McCurry. “I enjoy touching other peoples lives by ministering to them and giving them hope through song,” says Alicia S. McCurry. The church agrees to make this a normal routine.  Alicia S. McCurry is not just a singer but also a “Doer of God’s Will.” She says, “this may be my passion, but this is His voice through me. I am glad to do His works and I love to praise His name.” God’s Miracle Ministries is wonderful for its good works.

There is no telling where this church will go next. Last month on July 27, 2013 was the Gateway Center in downtown Atlanta. Praising God is the only way. This is not the church’s only move. This is only the beginning to their journey as a whole…”We strive to be a church just like the church in Acts.” In my opinion, there is need in the world for more ministries like God’s Miracle Ministries.

CELEBS GIVE...BUT EXACTLY WHAT IS IT THAT MAKES THEM GIVE?

Did you know that many Celebs give, give and may GIVE some more to charities for to get good publicity? When you think of “giving back to the community” you think of a selfless behavior. When Celebs remain “anonymous” sometimes it takes away the “self” and makes it more about the charity. Why remain anonymous or why make it public for the world to see? Some may say I do not want to be selfish and note that “all eyes are on me,” but many would gladly give as a way to make it seen that they are doing something good for the community.

There are many celebrity donators, though it is good, certain ones give out an enormous amount of money and even started foundations of their own. The list goes from Taylor Swift, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattison, Rihanna, Chris Evans, and the list goes on.

What makes celebs want to give?

The same reason that you would give…Have you ever witnessed someone dying from a disease like cancer, diabetes, or saw someone suffering from bone disease. Have you ever witness someone in need of a place to live, or was that person? Or witness children in need of food and clothes. Most people give for these causes and celebrities are human.

You would probably think to yourself. Well, no celebrity has ever been homeless! Well, that’s not true. Many may have started rich and may have lost all of their profit and went back downhill to start over. Because of the fear of losing money, you may not know that they were ever broke unless you’ve seen them sleeping under a bridge or something because they had no place to stay. When you have a ton of money, and lose it all because of spending and not saving, it becomes a problem.

Look at former Gap Band Singer Charlie Wilson. He had to overcome homelessness and prostate cancer. Now, he is definitely back in the game with Snoop Dogg and R Kelly’s help. But you wouldn’t believe that he has been in that predicament because look at him now. He’s doing big things!
