Love from Channing Tatum to a Fan with Cancer

“Nobody fights alone.” Cancer is a disease that many die from, some overcome, doctors cannot prevent it, and by the grace of God, it shall be gone. A brain tumor occurs when cells go wrong and the development is abnormal.  A person going through the fourth stage of cancer is entirely in a bad condition. Alisa Finley is battling a stage four-brain tumor. One of her wishes was to receive a kiss from Channing Tatum. As a result, she’s received just that, but through a video. Still waiting for the real thing, Alisa has not checked the particular wish off of her wish list yet. There was a movie that was almost like this, where a young boy was dying from cancer, yet, his dying wish was to have one date with his favorite model. At the end he had received that wish. According to the video, he and his wife sings a “Happy” song by Pharell just for her and blowing her a kiss right before. The question that one may ask is will Channing Tatum give Alisa Finley her wish in real life? As appeared on the Facebook page, fans are wondering why a video was sent instead of the real thing. Some are bashing him for it but others are supporting him for what he has done. One organizer on Facebook says, that she “loves how people say that he could do better. At least he’s done something…. people tend to forget that he has a family…”. According to his family, he has a newborn and a wife.  She mentions in her post that celebrities cannot possibly grant every fan wish and that they have a life of their own. Another says, “He’s a great guy!! Glad you enjoyed the viddy!” Some celebrities may not go the extra mile to please a fan. This is something special.

  1. Alicia! This is a really cute post! Sharing positive kind words with other people especially when they are ill can really help lift their spirits. It amazes how far words can go, they stick with you forever if you commit to what is being said to you. I love that celebrities like Channing Tatum are reaching out and making other people's wishes come true. Look how far this 49 second video went, more than what he will ever image. I love the idea behind your blog. I obsess with anything and everything that inspires, touches my soul and spreads positivity. Keep up the good work!

    Love always,

  2. I really appreciate that. It is an inspiration for me to reach to uplift people whom feel as though there is no hope and give them hope. Leaders that influence others in a positive way are a great example to what we all need to be like. "Give and it shall be given unto you"-Luke 6:38

    Blessings!
